Alpe Adria Trail: 3 days & 3 country

Program

DAY 1: FEISTRITZ AN DER GAIL (AUSTRIA) - VALBRUNA
An imposing mountain range characterises this section of the Alpe Adria Trail. The transition from Austria to Italy takes place in the Carnic Alps, at the foot of the Oisternig mountain along the Accomizza alpine pasture. It then descends into Italian territory to reach Camporosso and then Valbruna.
Overnight stay in Valbruna

DAY 2: VALBRUNA - MOUNT LUSSARI - TARVISIO
Between Valbruna and Tarvisio the route reaches an altitude of 1790m on Mount Lussari with its picturesque Marian Sanctuary, a pilgrimage destination for the 3 peoples. We then descend to the valley along the Pilgrim's Path towards Camporosso for the "Cervi Park" and continue along the Rio Argento promenade.

Technical organization Beyond Borders Travel, via Roma 14, 33018 Tarvisio (UD) Italy. Authorization FVG Region 124 of 14/02/2000 type 011 Travel and Tourism Agency. For any dispute dependent on this contract, competent and exclusive jurisdiction is the Court of Tolmezzo (UD).

DAY 3: TARVISIO - LAGHI DI FUSINE / FUSINE LAKES
From Tarvisio we reach Tarvisio Centrale via the Monte Borgo promenade. We then reach the Alpe Adria cycle path and the Slizza gorge path. We continue along the cycle path to Aclete from where we reach Fusine. In Fusine we stop and spend the night, or continue to the lakes and from the lakes to the Zacchi hut. DAY 4: FUSINE - KRANJSKA GORA (SLO)
Crossing the border to Kranjska Gora from where the transfer back to Feistritz (AUT) is planned.
