alpe adria trail's tale
The implementation of the project Alpe Adria Trail's Tale in the Regions Friuli Venezia Giulia, Carinthia and Slovenia aims to optimize the trekking itinerary "Alpe Adria Trail", with a view to capitalizing on the interventions already carried out in the project financed during the previous Italy - Austria 2007 - 2013 programming, as well as envisaged in the recently presented project on the Italy - Slovenia interreg and to enhance sustainable accessibility, enrich the offer and increase integration with the natural, historical and cultural heritage. The Alpe Adria Trail's Tale is a long-distance hiking route from Grossglockner to Muggia on the Adriatic Sea, is the result of a well-established cooperation between the partners involved, who with the present project intend to enhance the existing route. The project aims at a conversion of the tourism offer of the cross-border area from a destination model to a motivation and experience model, as well as an implementation of services aimed at tourists. The Alpe Adria Trail should no longer be just a route that crosses several regions, with their environments and landscapes, but it will become a route in which to live multiple experiences (creation of a targeted tourist offer): food and wine, cultural, historical and environmental.
