The snow covering the Julian and Carnic Alps highlights all their splendor. The snow-covered alpine scenery under the mild winter sun is ideal for long hikes through silent, unspoiled nature. Trekking in winter in the Tarvisio area is a unique experience! Hikers will find a vast network of trails to enjoy in the cold season with only the aid of snowshoes (snowshoes) and a pair of trekking poles. For sections of packed snow, however, they will be able to use lightweight crampons attached to their hiking boots.

Don't worry if you don't have the equipment, you can easily rent it on site!
