ALPINE SKIING

There are numerous routes for ski mountaineers and off-piste enthusiasts to experience authentic thrills in the company of experienced guides. The Montasio plateau, with its beautiful south-facing slopes, is an excellent playground for mountaineers. The Forca del Palone is definitely the most popular and easy route, with almost always excellent snow conditions. All the ingredients are there for a great adventure, but it must be tackled in perfect physical condition and by checking the snow conditions.

You can then decide whether to venture out on ski mountaineering, with snowshoes or to comfortably reach the refuges of Sella Nevea, Mount Lussari and Mount Florianca using the ski lifts.

Either way, when you relax in a deck chair on a sunny terrace, admiring the spectacular scenery amidst the glitter of snow, sipping a hot drink with the carefree laughter of your children, the cheerful chatter of friends, or the silence of nature in the background, you have no doubt: you have made the right choice!
