SELLA NEVEA

Sella Nevea is located at 1190 meters in the basin between Mount Canin and Jof di Montasio and is known both as a cross-border ski resort and as a mountaineering center and important speleological area thanks to the famous abysses on Mount Canin.

In the winter season skiers can enjoy the new connection between the Italian and opposite sides of Mount Canin, which gives access to the Kanin ski area in Slovenian territory. But Sella Nevea is also a free ride paradise and a particularly suitable area for Eliski with rewarding descents on the southern slopes of the Montasio group esu some northern slopes of Canin.

In the heart of the Julian Pre-Alps Natural Park and in contact with important protected areas such as the Tarvisio Forest and the Triglav Park (Slo), Sella Nevea offers in the summer season ua series of services that are highly appreciated by families. Here, for example, it is possible to spend a day in the Adventure Park, (where you can try your hand at suspended courses made in trees,by means of footbridges, Tibetan lianas bridges and pulleys) on the Montasio Plateau,(where mountain pasture processing and production of dairy products on a vast alpine plateau ideal for easy walks even with young children) or in the beautiful Prevala basin set in a very picturesque landscape with breathtaking views, where you can walk the Bila Pec Botanical Trail and enjoy the excellent cuisine of the Gilberti Refuge.
