Sleddog
The International Mushing-sleddog School led by the great Ararad, star of the legendary expedition "In Balto's Footsteps, 1200 kilometers in Alaska," is located in Fusine.
In both winter and summer, Ararad and Monica, will lead you on fanatical hikes in the company of their faithful Alaskan Husky collaborators. In winter you can experience the thrill of driving a sled pulled by Siberian dogs on your own along the snow-white trails of the Fusine plain, surrounded by the majestic Julian Alps right on the border with Slovenia, while in summer you can approach a Dog Trekking experience and visit the Millennia Forest of Tarvisio on foot in complete synchrony with your four-legged companion.
