Alpe Adria cycling path & Alpe Adria Trail: active holiday in FVG

DAY 1: TARVISIO
Arrival by own/public transport, check-in, free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: AAT TARVISIO-MONTE LUSSARI-TARVISIO
Stage R4 of the trail from Camporosso to Mount Lussari following the Pilgrim's path. 4 hours, difference in altitude 1000 metres.
Visit to Borgo Mariano and free lunch. Descent by cable car and return to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: CAAR TARVISIO-VENZONE
Hire of bicycles and departure from Tarvisio to Venzone along the Alpe Adria cycle route: this section is almost entirely on converted railway land. Length 62 km, height difference in descent 500 metres.
Check-in, free dinner and overnight stay.
Your luggage will be waiting for you at the hotel.

DAY 4: CAAR VENZONE-UDINE
Cycling from Venzone TO UDINE along the Alpe Adria cycle route: the second stage passes through small villages on secondary roads with no traffic. Length 58 km, drop 320 metres
Check-in, free dinner and overnight stay.
Your luggage is waiting for you at the hotel. Bike drop-off at the hotel.

DAY 5: FREE DAY: UDINE-CIVIDALE
Morning dedicated to a free visit of Udine. In the afternoon transfer (30 minutes) by train to Cividale del Friuli, UNESCO heritage site (possibility of extra private transfer on request) .
 Check-in, free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: AAT CIVIDALE-MERNICCO-CORMONS
Stage 29 of the trail from Cividale to Breg, stopping a few metres before the border with Slovenia to visit a winery and rest with a small snack.
13 km, 4.30 hours.
Private transfer to Cormons.
Check-in, free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7: AAT CORMONS-GRADISCA D'ISONZO
Stage 30 of the trail from Cormons to Gradisca d'Isonzo, through the Collio Friulano.
17.3 km, 5.00 hours.

DAY 8: GRADISCA D'ISONZO-TARVISIO
Return by train from Sagrado station, or by private transfer (extra on request).
